Sapphire Consulting Services is currently looking for a skilled Technical Lead with strong Full Stack and AI expertise to join their team in Karachi. This is a senior leadership role that requires both deep technical knowledge and the ability to guide a development team.
Who They’re Looking For
Candidates should have at least 6 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years spent in a leadership position. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
What the Role Involves
The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of full-stack applications — from architecture and design to development and deployment. Key areas of focus include:
- Defining technical architecture and coding standards, and ensuring quality through regular code reviews
- Designing and fine-tuning both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Building secure APIs using REST, SOAP, and GraphQL
- Implementing strong security practices aligned with OWASP guidelines (including MFA, JWT, and secure session handling)
- Optimizing code and database queries, along with planning and executing load tests
- Keeping technical documentation up to date
- Leading and mentoring the team using Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Working closely with Business Analysts and QA teams
- Setting clear guidelines for AI-assisted development and safely integrating AI features into products
Required Technical Skills
- Full Stack technologies: Node.js, Express, React, Next.js, PHP, and Laravel
- Strong database knowledge (SQL & NoSQL), including stored procedures, indexing, triggers, materialized views, and connection pooling
- Experience with secure API development (REST, SOAP, GraphQL)
- Solid understanding of application security (OWASP, MFA, JWT)
- Practical experience with AI tools and practices such as prompt engineering, guardrails, RAG, embeddings, token optimization, and defending against prompt injection
- Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate across BA and QA functions
